Blacksmithing and Metalwork

Iron and other metals, such as copper, can be creatively fashioned into works of utility or art for the home and garden. The process of working with metals has a long history, and is highly regarded as an art form. At Chestnut Ridge Studio & Forge traditional blacksmithing techniques are emphasized and used in tandem with new forging technologies. Sometimes the studio’s metal work includes other art mediums, resulting in collaborative works.
